In other news about Xbox backwards compatibility, Microsoft engineering lead Mike Ybarra said recently that Project Scorpio will "of course" support backwards compatibility. Modern Warfare 3 would join other Call of Duty titles in the backwards compatibility catalog like Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: World at War. Oblivion would be the first Elder Scrolls Xbox 360 game playable on Xbox One. Microsoft typically announces additions to the catalog at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, so a formal announcement could come soon. These games have not been announced for backwards compatibility.
